Just 90 minutes from North Phoenix, MG Lodge is situated on a 2 acre Mountainside lot at 7100 foot elevation in the tall cool pines of Walker, AZ (Prescott National Forest).  Privacy and seclusion is our #1 feature, surrounded with nothing but tall cool pines and oaks and aspens and bordered by Prescott National Forest lands. Even though we are in a rugged wilderness location we host all of your “city slicker“ needs, WiFi, Satellite TV, Phone, DVD, CD and a whole lot more. Civilization is just 20 minutes: Costco, Casino, Whiskey Row, fine dining, and shopping is 11 to 14 miles and downtown Prescott is just a 14 mile drive.

MG Lodge is always 25 to 30 degrees cooler than Phoenix.  Our snow season is October to May.  7’ of snow so far in 2009.  Not uncommon to be bright and sunny and 115 degrees in Phoenix while it just 55 degrees and raining at MG Lodge
