Just 87 Miles (or 1 hour & 15 minutes with little to no traffic delay) from Loop 101 and Interstate 17, this property can turn a hot summer Phoenix day to a refreshing cool summer afternoon as average temperatures of the Walker area are typically 25 to 30 degrees cooler than Phoenix. Summer monsoons in Phoenix, bring rain to the high country, not uncommon to be in the mid 50’s and raining when it is bright and sunny and 110 degrees in Phoenix. Be sure to bring a jacket, sweat shirts, sweaters, or long-sleeve clothing, even if it is 110 in Phoenix.

The home is best accessed from Highway 69 via Walker Road (mile post 293, Pets Mart & Cost Co) which is between Prescott and Prescott Valley.

From Highway 69, go South on Walker Road 7.8 miles to end of the pavement which is at the Lynx Creek Bridge (site of the “100 mail boxes”). Following the sign directional to "Potato Patch", take a LEFT after the bridge, continuing SOUTH on Walker Road an additional 3.9 miles southwest. When you get to the "Potato Patch" community entrance, the street is named "Poachers Row". Take a LEFT and go SOUTH on Poachers Row to Black Lode Trail which is the first street SOUTH of Walker Road (Google Map shows a Tunnel road, disregard this road, it does not exist). Take a RIGHT, go WEST on up Black Lode Trail to the Millsite Village gated entrance. MG Lodge is the green roof home situated to the right of the Millsite Gated entrance. Access to the gate and the lodge is indicated on your rental agreement.
