Looks can be deceiving! One would think driving by 25 to 45 for sale signs would suggest the area is depressed and everyone is selling. Not! Walker Road is the main thoroughfare in and out of the Walker Area. Hence, anyone selling property will generally have they're realty sign posted along Walker Road. There is only about 1,800 privately owned land parcels for the area. At any given moment, there is about 10 to 30 land parcels for sale and 10 to 15 homes and cabins for sale, which only totals about 2.5% of all privately owned land.
