
The only way to guarantee a reservation is by executing our guest agreement and making deposit or full payment within the time period specified. If your payment has not arrived within 5 days or your request date, the dates will be released to other prospective guests and should another booking materialize, the reservation will be released.
Reservations made within 30-days of arrival date are required to make full payment of the total booking.
Reservations made 31 to 60 days of arrival date are required to pay 75% of the total booking at time of booking with the 25% balance paid 30 days before arrival date.
Reservations made 61 to
90 days of arrival date are
required to pay 50% of the total booking at time of reservation. Once the reservation is 60 days before
arrival date, 25% of the total booking is due.
Once the reservation is 30 days before the arrival date, the
remaining
25% of the total booking is due.
Reservations made 91+
days of arrival date are
required to pay 25% of the total booking at time of reservation. Once the reservation is 90 days before
arrival date, another 25% of the total booking is due (50% paid). Once the reservation is 60 days before the
arrival date, another 25% of the total booking is due (75% paid). Once the reservation is 30 days before the
arrival date, the remaining 25% of the booking is due (100% paid).
A 30% deposit may be required with your reservation. If the accommodation area left in about the same condition it was given (dishes and utensils placed in dishwasher and turned on prior to departure, no pet damage or droppings, no tobacco odors, key left inside with doors locked and furnishings in order) then the deposit will be completely refunded (other standard cleaning fees are not refundable.). We expect the condition of the Lodge to be the same after all guest stays except for normal required housekeeping.
Reservations with 6 persons or less are required to pay a cleaning fee in the amount of one hundred ($100.00) dollars.
Reservations with 7 or
more persons are required to pay a
cleaning fee in the amount of one hundred twenty five ($125.00) dollars.
We expect the condition
of the Lodge to be the same after all guest stays
except for normal required housekeeping needs: linen change-over,
sweeping,
mopping, and vacuuming floors, trash removal, etc.
We have been asked on
numerous occasions if the cleaning
fee could be waived and the Lodge “left clean”.
Our outsourced housekeeping contractor follows a detailed
Quality Control/Quality
Assurance cleaning checklist and provides a thorough cleaning after
each guest
stay to include: a) trash removal, b) linen & towel changeover, c)
dusting,
floors & carpet, d) spa filter cleaning and chemical monitoring, e)
pest
control and much more.
Pets are allowed inside the Lodge as long they are not left alone when you are not there. They can be confined in a traveling cage. They have to be supervised so they do not scratch, chew or damage furnishings. Pets are not allowed on furniture unless you have brought a suitable pet blanket for them to lay on (please do not use bath towels, sheets, blankets or other items not intended for pet use.). It can be very difficult to remove pet hair from furnishings. Guest will be responsible for any unusual cleaning expenses, especially urine stains and odors. Children must be supervised at all times. Children under 12 are not permitted in the spa. The tree house at the Lodge is unstable and shall not be used. Guests hereby agree to indemnify and hold owners and property management harmless from any personal injury resulting in a child playing in and around the tree house. Smoking is only allowed outside. Smokers must be careful about smoke drifting inside. All smoking materials (butts) must be disposed of properly. Parents, pet owners and smokers are responsible for any unsatisfactory events or conditions.
Because vacation home accommodations are never overbooked and guaranteed reservations take accommodations off the market, cancellations are extremely hard to re-book.
We have a NO REFUND policy for any cancellation within 30-days of the arrival date.

It should be noted that MG Lodge is situated in the middle of a National Forest with 4.5 miles of dirt road. Access may be limited in snowy conditions and snow chains may be required. Winter reservations should plan accordingly and have snow chains for their vehicle (October to May). No refunds will be provided if you were not able to get to the property because of snow. PLEASE NOTE: Simply having a 4-wheel drive vehicle is NOT sufficient enough in lieu of snow chains. Steep roads that ice over can only be navigated with snow chains.
MG Lodge is privately owned and we reserve the right to immediately evict without refund of payment or deposit ... if the property is used for any unlawful purpose or if the property is used for a "house party" with occupants higher than agreed to, or if a reservation is made under false pretense or if, in our judgment, your occupancy is detrimental to the property. We reserve the right to enter the premises at any time for the purpose of inspection, repair, management or showing to prospective guests or buyers. We will make reasonable efforts to advise guests of these visits. We do not guarantee any appliances. No refunds will be given for malfunctions but we do promise to get them repaired as soon as possible. Refunds will not be given for dissatisfaction of location, style, layout etc. We reserve the right to correct mathematical errors made in rate or tax calculation.
The total number of persons allowed in Lodge cannot exceed the number in Guest Agreement unless prior notification has been provided. No RVs, tents etc. are allowed without permission. Guests are responsible for getting to the property unless routes to the property have been officially closed due to weather, maintenance etc. This includes roads not regularly maintained. MG Lodge LLC, Rick Gebhard, Peter Medal, Allegiance Realty, PTE, LLC dba Prescott Cabin Rentals, Lynx Creek Farm, LLC are not responsible for any losses due to theft, items left behind, accidents or injuries to guests or visitors due to negligence or lack of personal responsibility. By renting this property, you are assuming all risk and liability for any damage done to person or property, agents, employees or visitors occasioned by the present or future condition of the premises, both latent and manifest.
If the Lodge is not available due to conditions beyond our control we will refund all deposits but will not be liable for any pecuniary or compensatory damages. We are not responsible for any losses due to theft, damage, items left behind after checkout or personal injury due to negligence or lack of personal responsibility. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
The lodge is in a remote location, on a mountainside lot with a rugged forest terrain. During winter months MG Lodge receives an excessive amount of snow and it is not uncommon for excessive buildup of snow and ice in around the decks, steps, drive and parking areas. Guests are expected to use common sense in preventing any personal injury and shovel snow and break up any ice to mitigate the potential for someone to slip and fall on ice. Guests agree to indemnify, release, and hold us harmless as result of any personal injury of any kind while staying at our accommodations.
